DIA-Al Barsha is authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme, constituting the continuum of IB programmes for students aged 3-19. These programmes challenge students to excel in their studies, and encourage both personal and academic achievement. The IB supports schools and teachers to provide a rigorous, high-quality education, offering professional development that improves pedagogy and leadership.

Eco-Schools UAE
The Eco-Schools programme engages children and young people in key issues including the environment, sustainability, global citizenship and the value of a low carbon future. Eco-Schools is an international initiative designed to encourage whole-school action for the environment. It is an environmental management tool, learning resource and recognised award scheme. Dubai International Academy, Al Barsha is in the process of achieving the Eco-Schools/Green Flag status.
Middle East IB Association
MEIBA is the Middle East IB Association of Schools. It aims to provide help and support to schools and institutions of education within the Middle East and neighboring countries which offer, or are considering offering, the International Baccalaureate (IB). It assists in the promotion of the IB mission and its objectives, and acts as a forum for debate and consultation.
