Dubai International Academy Al Barsha offers a huge variety of Co-Curricular Activities under our aim of “Something for Everyone”.
Co-curricular activities are activities that are outside of usual classroom lessons, supporting students’ holistic development. Our CCAs help our students become more involved in our school and community and support development of their social and soft skills, while promoting wellbeing.
Most of our CCAs are free of charge, provided by our staff, using our facilities. Where we are unable to facilitate activities with our own staff or facilities, we offer paid Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) by independent organisations and individuals. DIA Barsha plays a role in enabling the running of these programmes on or off the school premises by providing its infrastructure and being responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of its various facilities. We endeavour to collaborate with the best providers of these activities, but the responsibility for the ultimate quality rests with the providers. Students who wish to participate in these activities must contact the activity provider directly and register by paying the requisite fees. Activities are provided for various age groups and levels of competency, and students are encouraged to identify the correct category before registering.
