Communication
We value the partnership we have with our parents and communication is a key ingredient of our positive relationships. We will aim to provide parents with relevant information about school logistics, events and your child’s academic progress. We ask that parents engage with this information to support their child’s experience.
Respect
We request that all members of our community act with respect towards each other in all forms of communication (in-person, email, social media, etc).
Learning PlatformsWe use Toddle in primary and Managebac in secondary to share all learning resources. We will also communicate via these platforms. Social MediaWe will regularly post day-to-day goings-on in our school on Instagram (@diabarsha). You are welcome to follow us to get a feel for what it’s like! |
Reports
We will issue written reports at key points in the year to inform you of the academic progress that your children are making, also most importantly, how your child can improve. We will also share assessment reports from various external assessments we use.
We share staff emails so that you can contact us. Please note that we aim to respond within 2 working days, recognising that staff are often busy with other responsibilities.
Meetings
Parents and students are invited to meet with their teachers during Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTC) at least twice throughout the year. Parents can request a phone call, video call or in-person meeting at any time throughout the year, understanding that staff may only be able to offer certain times due to their many commitments.
